So you'd think for a show that was so incredibly popular, that there'd be a ton of pictures to pull from the Internet of Carrie Bradshaw. Not so. There's a lot of pics from the 2 movies but not very many from the actual television show. Although I definitely loved the fashion ensembles she wore in the movies, my favorites come from the actual television series. I did manage to find quite a few images that I like, but was disappointed to find that I kept remembering some of my favorite outfits she wore and wasn't able to get any of those images from the Internet. Bummer.
Anyway, I did get some good photos that depict who Carrie is and what her style is.
I love that she is so bold and daring with her fashion choices. She's very girly, yet also has a slight edge to her. She is always sure to surprise you. You just never know what you're gonna get with her. You'll be thinking that you know what sort of style she's gonna roll with for a certain event or moment in her life, and she'll come out of left field with something that is not at all what you expected but somehow works. She is amazing at pulling off the most random and eclectic of fashions. She'll pair a hat with an outfit that you wouldn't expect to have a hat with it. Or she'll wear suspenders. And it works! Then on the other hand, she's great at pulling off a fabulous classic, chic look, too. And she's also great at rocking vintage wear. Oh, and the shoes! Who can forget the shoes?!? She has impeccable taste in shoes! And the girl has great legs, so she can definitely rock a great pair of Manolo Blahniks! And these are all reasons why she is one of my fashion icons. Oh yeah...and the hair! She has amazing hair too! ;-)
