Bling Does Not = Better

This is NOT cute, people! The embellished jean really never was that fashionable in my opinion. I just think it looks tacky. This look was very popular in L.A. for a while, but is a trend that began to fade around 2007. It's 2010; almost 2011 ladies and gents. Get rid of the blingy jeans you have in your closet. You know the ones I'm talking about. The ones that look similar to these:

And let's replace them with something classier and more flattering. There's something to be said about simplicity and a nice cut. The term less is more comes to mind. Jeans are meant to be low key. Let your overall look and accessories do the work for your jeans. And if you want to add a pop or bit of flare to your denim, then try doing that with a colorful yet tasteful pair of heels to accompany your outfit; or wear your jeans with a nice pair of boots; or choose a darker color of denim.
