Audrey Hepburn was one of the biggest style icons of our time. She was elegant and beautiful and known for keeping it simple. She was known for wearing the ever popular little black dress and pairing it with statement jewelry. She was also famous for wearing capri pants and ballet flats. She actually liked to wear ballet flats with most anything - think dresses, skirts, pants, etc.
She loved feminine clothes, but she also knew how to pull off the men’s inspired look flawlessly as well. She could pull off short hair, full skirts, cinched waists and men’s inspired button-down shirts.
I love LBDs, jewelry, capri pants, flats, fitted button down white collared shirts, dresses, and a cinched waist band. If you see me at work, you'll often see me wearing one of these items or a combination of them.
I would like to add that Audrey had great hair. She looked great with either long hair or a short cut. And, even though she had great hair, she also looked amazing in hats, which she often wore. And these are all the reasons why I love Audrey Hepburn and look to her for style ideas. She is classic!
