Celebs Share Their Not-So-High-Fashion Moments

Stars Share Their Worst DON’T Moment - Fashion + Beauty on Shine:

* I love what Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have to say:
Kourtney: “Sexy isn’t always about showing skin. I’m over those days.”
Khloe: “Now I’m more comfortable taking risks—and dressing for my body, not the trend.”

Last But Not Least: Skull T-Shirts

The last bit of nastiness on my list of things unfashionable is skull t-shirts. Again, another thing I find hideous! I'm SO over this look already! Well, I NEVER liked it to begin with, but after seeing it everywhere and never being a fan, I'm done, thank you very much! I'm just SO sick of this idea that some girls/women have in their heads that it's not cool to be a girl or to be feminine. Well, I have a news flash for you: YES IT IS! If you're a woman, embrace it! Be feminine. Men like that. And even if they didn't, that's not relevant. If you're a girl you should be proud of that. Don't try to be manly, or unfeminine, or "hard". Embrace your femininity. There are plenty of ways of still being able to hang with the boys; or being independent; or being tough and not letting anyone walk all over you. Trust me, you can show all of that and still wear a dress; or pink; or a shirt with a flower on it instead of a nasty skull! In fact, without all of the "hard" attire, you might find that you actually get MORE respect and more people might take you seriously. Who knows?
As for the skulls... Men, I'm including you in this one, too. Enough with the skulls! It reminds me of a dead person. And why do I want to see that? If you're a good looking man, I want to see you in a great button up collared shirt (without skulls printed on it), or in a nice suit. Shoot, I'll even take a wife beater, if you just ditch those ugly skull shirts! Please!!

Face Bling? No Thank You!

Leave your faces alone, people! Please! Enough with the face piercing already. It pains me to see this. Even worse to me than seeing a pretty girl smoking a cigarette is a girl with a pretty face and a bunch of piercings all over it. There's no other way around saying this, so I'm just gonna say it: Face piercings are DISGUSTING! Your face is one of the major things that represents you. Please don't ruin your great face and your skin by putting metal bars and hoops in it. Use makeup (appropriately applied) to accentuate your face and your natural features. You look like a Barbarian with all that junk in your face. If you absolutely desire some sort of piercing on your face, at least make it discreet and get a tiny little nose piercing. That I can handle. But the dots in the cheeks, the bars through the eyebrows, the hoop and ball through the lip...that stuff's gotta go. Besides, they're finding results now that are showing that all this piercing stuff can be super dangerous to your health and hygiene. If for nothing else, let that be the reason you don't pierce yourselves, ladies! For goodness sakes!

Way Too Wrinkled

All of this hair is too dramatic for my liking. I just think that hairstyles should look somewhat effortless in order to look good....even if it took you hours to get it to look like that! I don't like hair that looks too done up or too perfect. It's kind of like art to me. I don't want it to be too perfect, otherwise there's not much artistic or unique quality to it. Flaws are ok and so is a bit of messiness. That makes it pretty! So, instead of using a 3 barrel wave iron and pressing it to your hair until you make perfectly creased waves, only hold it for a few seconds and let it go. Or, use a curling iron or a blow dryer to make soft, loose waves or curls and then run your hands through it to make your hair look pretty like these ladies:

Skunk Hair Stinks!

So what's up with the skunk hair trend? I don't get it. I don't see it quite as often as I used to, but I do still occasionally see someone sportin' a Pepe Le Pew 'do. This is NOT fashionable people! It's ugly. There's nothing natural about having big 'ol chunks of blonde hair paired with big 'ol chunks of black hair. It's ugly and not something that someone with a good sense of style would do to themselves. Let's try something like this instead:

Pink Clown Hair

This is ugly, ladies. Pink hair extensions or pink dye is not fashionable to put in your hair. I guess it's fine if you're a punk rocker chick, but still, it's ugly in my opinion. It looks trashy to me and sort of like a clown. Wear pink anywhere else you'd like, just don't wear it in your hair!

Um NO!

This is just WRONG! A chest tattoo is NEVER fashionable in my opinion. I happen to think tattoos are ugly to begin with. (And yes, I DO have one - a tiny little butterfly on my leg near my ankle. And yes, I think it's ugly!) But even more ugly than just a plain old tattoo, is a tattoo sprawled out across your chest...especially if you're a girl. It's hideous and not cute at all. Ladies, please don't do this to yourselves. As women, our chests are sacred. That's the place our children rest their heads. It's the part of us that entices the appetite of our significant others. It's not a place to use as a canvas for some ugly ink. Please, if you want to adorn your chest with something, choose a necklace, not a tattoo! Let's try being ladies, not sailors!

Thick Or Thin? Loads vs. Just A Bit

Too much makeup is not a pretty thing. Makeup should enhance your natural, beautiful features, not make you look like you're ready to join the circus, be Marilyn Manson's side kick, or be workin' in a strip joint. For example, this is not so cute:

These looks, however, are subtle and add a bit of color to make already pretty faces stand out a bit more. The makeup on these ladies looks natural and probably takes a lot less time to apply than all those layers loaded on the ladies in the previous pictures. Take a look:
